The lay of the land

A tented backyard, rain or shine

Everything happens under one tent on the lawn, so don't sweat the forecast.

Under the tent

Ceremony, dinner, and dancing all happen in the backyard. Heaters and tent sides keep things cozy as the evening cools.

Valet parking

Complimentary valet right on site, so no hunting for a spot. Valets take your car from 3:30pm until midnight.

Pizza truck & open bar

A wood-fired pizza truck and a full open-bar truck keep everyone fed and happy all night.

Need gluten-free crust or vegan cheese? Say so in your RSVP and we'll have it ready.

What to wear

Dress code: colorful

Cocktail attire with the color turned all the way up: jewel tones, bold patterns, and your most festive, funky self. When in doubt, add more color.

Pull from our palette for inspiration:

  • Ruby
  • Amber
  • Citrine
  • Emerald
  • Teal
  • Sapphire
  • Amethyst
  • Magenta

Cocktail & festive

Suits, dresses, jumpsuits, separates — whatever makes you feel like a celebration. Funky is encouraged; beige is gently discouraged.

Our wedding party

  • Bridesmaids are each in a different jewel tone from the palette above.
  • Groomsmen are in light grey suits with jeweled accents.

If you're so inclined

Our registry is a home

Your presence is the present. If you'd like to give something anyway, we're saving toward a house of our own.

Instead of china and toasters, we've set up a house fund. Every bit goes toward the down payment on the place where we'll host many more colorful gatherings (you're invited to those too).

Good to know

Frequently asked

Nope! Hanna is keeping her name.

Also no. Everyone keeps the names they came with.

Your invitation lists either the names of everyone in your party or the number of plus-ones we've set aside for you. Please keep your group to the size shown on your invite. It helps us plan the tent, the food, and the seating.

Nothing changes! The whole celebration is under a tent, so we're on rain or shine. Bring a layer for the evening.

There's complimentary valet right on site from 3:30pm until midnight: pull up, hand over the keys, and enjoy the night.

Please aim to arrive by 4:00pm so you're seated and settled before the ceremony begins at 4:30.
